On Monday, June 24, 2024, the Vancouver Firefighters Union IAFF Local 452 and 1-800-BOARDUP will be hosting the WSCFF 85th Annual Convention 2024 Charity Golf Tournament at Club Green Meadows. This event is open to players of all abilities so early sign up is recommended. Thanks to 1-800-BOARDUP, our Presenting Sponsor for 2024.

Tournament begins with 12:00PM check-in. Shotgun start at 1:00PM. Scramble Format - Teams of Four. Team Prizes for First & Second Place. Win other prizes for other games like Closest to Pin, Long Drive, Putting Contest. Entry fee includes goodie bag, snacks, and taco bar dinner during scoring and awards ceremony, and two drink tickets. 50/50 Raffle sales during the tournament.

All donations and sponsorships are tax deductible. Your sponsorship will help send young burn survivors to a weeklong summer camp where they can be with their peers, free from the stares that often accompany their everyday lives. They build friendships that will last a lifetime, which provide support as they navigate struggles that many of us will never know or experience. Sponsorships also provide housing near Harborview’s Burn Center for the family of burn survivors to stay in while their loved one is being treated.  We offer other sponsorship opportunities to suit every budget.


Vancouver Firefighters Community Assistance Fund (VFCAF)

 

Our primary purpose is to provide small grants to assist community members who face a temporary or urgent need for assistance.

 

Your sponsorship for this 2024 event will help send young burn survivors to a weeklong summer camp where they can be with their peers, free from the stares that often accompany their everyday lives. They build friendships that will last a lifetime, which provide support as they navigate struggles that many of us will never know or experience. 

 

Sponsorships for this event will also provide housing near Harborview’s Burn Center for the family of burn survivors to stay in while their loved one is being treated.

 

The VFCAF will donate any remaining proceeds to the Firefighter Cancer Support Network.
