Donations to the Wichita Firefighters Charitable Fund support Operation Warm, Honor Guard, Firefighter Assistance, and Pipe and Drum Corps. 

OPERATION WARM
Provides warmth, confidence, and hope through giving a coat to underserved children. We target schools in areas where many of these children do not have adequate protection from the cold when they walk to school. For some kids this is the first new coat that they will own.

HONOR GUARD
Provides a salute to fallen members of the emergency services. In addition, they present colors for various events. They attend the annual Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs where fallen members across the United States and Canada are honored.

FIREFIGHTER ASSISTANCE
The charitable fund provides assistance to families of firefighters who experience extreme issues. This could be a severely ill child or spouse. We also assist members who need transportation to the Center of Excellence for treatment of PTSD, alcohol, or substance abuse issues.

PIPE AND DRUM CORPS
Play at funerals for fallen members of the emergency services. These members are dressed in a traditional piper or drummer uniform. Pipe and Drums will also participate in various events such as the annual Fallen Firefighter Memorial where fallen members across the U.S. and Canada are honored.
