EVENT TIMES: Registration will begin on Tuesday, April 23rd at 3PM – 6PM. Labor Seminar sessions will run from 8:30AM to 4:30 PM Wednesday and Thursday. There will be a one-hour lunch buffet provided at the hotel. Friday, April 26th is the Officer Involved Shooting Training from 8:30AM – Noon. 

COST: $65.

ATTENDANCE: Attendance limited to F.O.P. Members ONLY and Lodge Attorneys. At registration you must show your FOP membership card.

 

TOPICS:  Act  111(Collective Bargaining), Filing and Processing Grievances (contract interpretation and discipline and arbitration appeals, as well as alternate forums such as Civil Service under the Borough, Township, and City Codes, Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board (Unfair Practices and Representation issues, such as Regionalization and De-regionalization), Pensions and Retirement (under the Third Class City Code, Act 600 and PMRS),  Act 47 and Municipal Bankruptcy, Disability and Killed in Service Benefits (Heart and Lung Act, Workers' Compensation Act, KIS Act 51, and Public Safety Officer Benefits)
