The Fraternal Order of Police is the world's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 325,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges. Bethlehem Star Lodge #20 is one of those 2,100 lodges whose purpose is to be the voice of those dedicated individuals that serve and have served the City of Bethlehem, PA. We are committed to improving the working conditions of those officers and the safety of the citizens of Bethlehem through education, information, community involvement and employee representation. Nobody knows the challenges, stressors and dangers faced by today's police officers better than another officer. It is the job of the FOP to be the voice for each of those officers.

Community Engagement Initiative Fundraising
The mission of the Fraternal Order of Police Bethlehem Star Lodge #20 Community Engagement Initiative is to actively give back to the youth and community of Bethlehem. We are committed to fostering unity, communication, and cooperation among all members of our community and its law enforcement officers providing opportunities for the Bethlehem community to take a proactive stance against violence through various initiatives and programs.
By promoting unity, communication, and cooperation, we aim to create a stronger and more connected community where everyone feels supported and empowered. Through our initiatives, we seek to inspire and empower youth to become agents of positive change in their communities, be confident in approaching and interacting with law enforcement, ultimately working towards a safer and more inclusive environment for all.
Through collaborative efforts and partnerships, we also strive to implement programs that not only address the immediate needs of our community, but also equip them with the resources to navigate life's challenges successfully. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of the youth and create a brighter future for our community.

Member of the Associate Lodge
An Associate Membership in the Fraternal Order of Police gives you the opportunity to show your support of law enforcement officers in our community. Associate Lodge members receive annual window decals and a personalized membership card. Associate Lodge members will receive correspondence from Bethlehem Star Lodge 20 to inform members of pertinent issues facing our membership.
Class I. Individuals wishing to be members of the Associate Lodge who are eligible to participate in the Legal Defense Plan established and maintained by the Grand Lodge at the plan level of their choosing. Applicants are required to be employed as a College or University Police Officers within the City of Bethlehem. Individuals outside the Bethlehem Star Lodge #20 should contact the lodge for eligibility.
Class II. Individuals wishing to be members of the Associate Lodge who are not eligible for the Legal Defense Plan. This includes but is not limited to civilian family and friends of Police officers as well as citizens of high moral standing that support law enforcement in their communities.
