Matt Chandler

On 11/28/2025, Matt was riding his motorcycle to place it into storage, following behind his wife, when a USPS mail truck crossed multiple lanes of traffic and struck him. Matt was thrown onto the hood of the vehicle as it continued to accelerate before he was thrown off. He sustained extensive road rash and several injuries, the most serious being to his left leg.
Matt suffered a broken femur and underwent surgery on 12/3/2025. During surgery, doctors also had to remove one-third of his patella. He is currently four weeks post-operation and facing a long road to recovery. At this time, he does not have a return-to-work date and has been advised that his recovery will take a minimum of six months.
Adding to the challenge, Matt and his wife have just welcomed a new three-week-old baby at home. Between medical recovery, time away from work, and caring for a newborn, this family is facing significant emotional and financial stress.
This is a time when our brotherhood and sisterhood truly matters. Any donation—no matter the amount—will help support Matt and his family as they navigate his recovery and focus on healing.
