The HPOA works diligently together to enhance the quality of life in the Henderson community through community service and charitable giving. Each year, we participate in civic service events through our HPOA Charitable Foundation; an IRS recognized 501(c) 3 non-profit, public charity; which we formed in 2006. 

One of our signature events is “Shop with a Cop,” which consists of over 100 local, deserving children (obtained through various sources) being paired with police officers who take them shopping in a local Target store for their holiday gifts. At the event, children and families are also provided with a breakfast and visit from Santa, who is appropriately escorted by a police motorcade convoy.
