APRI (A Philip Randolph Institute) is an affiliate of the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor- Congress of Industrial Organizations).  We are a community  education organization promoting positive change on issues that may negatively affect black people.   Get-Out-To-VOTE, Social and Economic Justice Education.

Our members are mostly labor union people of all races that support equal rights of black people yet non union people are welcome with some restrictions with officer positions.

Dues are $25.00 annually for each membership with 1 vote.  Election of officers are every 4 years in an odd year. 

The current county geographical area for the Orlando Chapter is Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Lake.
