Description: Length in inches: 3.5 Width in inches: 5.25 Height in inches: 4 Weight in pounds/ounces: 1 lb 9 oz Reflections: When I was holding the still-soft mug in my hands, with no particular plan for it yet, I started thinking about how frightening it can be when one’s heart doesn’t behave.  I was also thinking of the father of one of the young children killed in Uvalde, who then died the next day of a heart attack. When I stopped daydreaming and looked down, I realized I’d begun the carving of hearts on the mug, apparently with half my mind.  Art and reality are more closely attuned than you might realize.
