Vinnie Perrone is the President and Principal Officer of Teamsters Local 804, which represents more than 7,000 Teamsters in metro New York. He joins the O’Brien-Zuckerman Teamsters United Slate as a candidate for Trustee.

During UPS contract negotiations, Perrone united Local 804 members to Vote No and reject contract givebacks by 95 percent—the largest margin in the country.

Perrone successfully negotiated a $400/month pension increase, more full-time 22.3 jobs for part-timers, and double-time pay for all Sunday work for 7,000 UPS workers covered by the Local 804 Supplement.

Perrone’s goals for the slate include ending concessionary bargaining, eliminating the Two-Thirds Rule from the Teamster Constitution, reforming the grievance panels, and taking on the nonunion threat posed by Amazon.
