Destiny and Steven Cox lived with their four children at their home at Sherman Valley Ranch, which caught fire early Saturday, killing the couple and three of their children. 

Two boys, ages 10 and 12, and a 13-year-old girl died with their parents in the fire. The couple’s eldest child, 14, was not at home at the time of the fire. Another girl, a friend who had been staying with the family, was able to escape and is currently in critical but stable condition at Harborview Burn Center.

Thurston County Professional Firefighters have established a fund to help the surviving member of the Cox family and the cost incurred by such a tragedy. 100% of all donations will go to help this young man through the long journey without his mother, stepfather, and three siblings.
